FIle / TPI Tallassee girls basketball plans to bring an area title back to Tallassee for the first time since 2001.

After some struggles last season, the Tallassee Tigers’ girls basketball team plans to bring the area championship back to Tallassee for the first time since 2001. 

“They made a lot of progress this summer,” Tallassee coach Richard Taylor said. “The team has gotten a lot stronger, they’ve bought into what we’re trying to do. We seem to be focused and I think we’re going to have a pretty good year this year.”
