A breast cancer diagnosis brings mental and physical challenges that some may have not anticipated. Through her battle with the disease, Dadeville resident Sheretha Woodyard could only lean on her family and faith to get her through.

Woodyard said she was fearful after receiving her diagnosis in 2013. Her first thought was she might not see either of her children, who were in high school at the time, get married.
