Building inspector speaks at Kiwanis

During his visit to the Lake Martin-Dadeville Area Kiwanis Club, Dadeville building inspector Peter Golden updated club members on what is happening in the city. 

A moratorium was placed on self service storage facilities, mini warehouses, group homes and manufactured homes during last Tuesday’s council meeting. Golden said it puts a six-month hold on any new applications or permits while the planning and zoning committee finishes going through the city’s comprehensive plan and updates within zoning.
