The Camp Hill Town Council approved an ordinance during Monday’s council meeting re-establishing an agreement between the town and the cable and internet services provider Kinetic.

A representative from the parent company Unity said the agreement requires Kinetic to pay 5% quarterly of its revenues to the town as a franchise fee and a $1,500 one-time agreement fee to be paid to Camp Hill for the expenses of reviewing and establishing the agreement. The contract also gives Kinetic consent to operate established lines and construct fiber optic transmission lines within the town.
