For a majority of his high school career at Dadeville, Jaydon Walton has grown accustomed to standing on the podium in some capacity. As a member of the track and field team, Walton was part of the Dadeville indoor team that won a state title in 2025. 

And after Wednesday, he got to check off one more box before the completion of his high school career — sign to compete in college. Now, Walton is a signee to compete in track and field at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa.
