The Tallapoosa County Board of Education is making moves on a proposed idea brought to it in April. 

The board approved a memorandum of understanding for the Reeltown Fire Department. In April, Edward Bell Career Technical Center advisory board committee member Stacy Gunn visited TCBOE to pitch a plan about bringing a modern manufacturing career technical center to the Reeltown area based out of the fire department in front of Reeltown High School. District 5 board member Linda Daniel was concerned about the MOU listing the first three years of the teacher salary will be provided through a donor.
