Sarah Chase / TPI Lake Martin - Dadeville Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors prepare and participate in ribbon cuttings for new businesses as well as business that join the chamber.

The local chamber has had its chamber ambassador program for quite some time and is looking to increase its membership. Chamber CEO Bridget Thornell said the ambassador program connects individuals with their community. Responsibilities include preparing and participating in ribbon cuttings, grand openings, quarterly luncheons, business after hours events, chamber festivals and community events. Ambassadors also welcome new members, promote chamber events, encourage member engagement and attend monthly ambassador lunch meetings.
