The Lake Martin Community Hospital’s team of nurses received a five-star rating in nurse communications. This top rating made them one of seven Alabama hospitals to receive the high score given across the nation. The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey requires 100 patients to participate in a survey for a hospital to be considered. The questions inquired how well patients felt their nurse explained things to them, listened to them and treated them with courtesy and respect. The data was collected between July 2024 and June 2025.
