Tallapoosa County Schools did not receive a passing grade in the Alabama Department of Education’s Adequate Yearly Progress status reports released Monday.

In Tallapoosa County, the Alternative School did not make AYP and is now in year two of school improvement, Dadeville Elementary School did not make AYP, Councill Middle School made AYP, Dadeville High School did not make AYP, Edward Bell High School made AYP and is now in year three of school improvement, Horseshoe Bend School did not make AYP and Reeltown School made AYP.
