Joe Windle, Democratic candidate for superintendent of Tallapoosa County schools

Joseph “Joe” C. Windle of Tallassee is a Democratic candidate for Superintendent of Education of Tallapoosa County Schools. He has worked for the Tallapoosa County Board of Education for the past 12 years.

Windle said he is running for office because, “The teachers, support workers and students of Tallapoosa County Schools deserve the best qualified leader to lead our system through these difficult times.  I will make the tough, hard decisions required to improve the quality of education in all Tallapoosa County Schools and save the “American Dream” for our children. The leadership skills developed in successfully leading soldiers and schools for 40 years has prepared me to be the superintendent of Tallapoosa County Schools.”
