In less than a year, a dream for a competitive robotics team at Southern Preparatory Academy became a reality. 

In January, the robotics team competed in the VEX V5 robotics competition in Phenix City. After six rounds, the team placed 17 out of 24, an impressive height for a program that got its start in September 2025.
