Cliff Williams / TPI The Patriot Park Marketplace Farmer's Market opened in the second weekend of August. Since then, it has welcomed vendors from the era and a few miles further to sell their goods and handmade products.

Mann Farm owned by Ricky and Emily Mann primarily sells in-season produce grown right in their backyards in Alexander City. They also grow flowers, most of which are zinnas — a flower that often sparks a conversation about a patron’s grandmother or mother who also grew the brightly colored plant. Of course, their most popular produce item is tomatoes, but customers also love Emily’s mini cheese square crackers.
