Two Dadeville police officers took quick action to save a life on the morning of June 6. 

Roy Sosebee and Timothy Bass were invited to dine at Homeplate Cafe during the restaurant's opening. After enjoying their meal, Bass decided to make his way back to the police department, less than a block away from Homeplate, to grab some updated paperwork. As he got out of his patrol vehicle, though, he heard gunshots.
