Some Elmore County students earned more than $13 per hour as an 11th or 12th grader this last school year while working in the community. 

In fact 120 students from Elmore County Schools five high school campuses — Elmore County High School, Holtville High School, Stanhope Elmore High School, Wetumpka High School and The Edge — brought home $679,443.28 as part of the co-op program at the Elmore County Technical Center.
