Cliff Williams / TPI The Alabama National Guard brought out a large portable crane to the career fair at Elmore County High School.

Future firefighters, police officers and soldiers were present as Elmore County High School hosted its first military and first responder career fair Wednesday.

The idea of the career fair was to create a chance for juniors and seniors to interact with recruiters and representatives from the military, law enforcement and fire departments.
