Missing man’s boat found nearly 100 miles from where he launched

The 12-ft Jon-boat that James Dawkins launched at approximately 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan 10, has been recovered.

Dawkins, 54, of Wetumka launched his boat equipped with only a trolling motor near Shelton Landing on the Alabama River in Autauga County.
