Earth became more than just a map or globe for Wetumpka Middle School students during Multicultural Day.

WMS Spanish teacher and Puerto Rico native Jessica Tapia started the celebration several years ago to allow students to experience something beyond what they experience in and around Wetumpka. This year 67 countries were represented with history projects, food, music and more. Those countries include Greenland, Pakistan, Japan, North Korea, Mexico and more.
