A Florida woman is in the Elmore County Jail after the Wetumpka Police Department was called to assist a downtown restaurant with a disorderly person.

“Our officers got a call of a female being drunk,” Wetumpka police chief Ed Reeves said. “She was asked to leave the premises. In the process she got mad and belligerent. Then she started spitting on people.”
