The Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday the hiring of Vanessa Royal as executive director of the organization.

Submitted / TPI Vanessa Royal has been named the next executive director of the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce. It is her second stint leading the chamber after serving in the same role from 2012 to 2016.

Royal is no stranger to the Wetumpka Chamber, previously serving as executive director from 2012 to 2016.
