Trucks, cars, Jeeps and more benefit food pantry

Those with food insecurities will have more resources available to them at the Elmore County Food Pantry thanks to the Jeeps, Bikes & Rides for a Cause at the Wetumpka Sports Complex. Dozens of vehicles and their drivers braved the heat for a car show. At the end of the day the real winner was the Elmore County Food Pantry as enough funds were raised to purchase about 35,000 pounds of food and another 35 boxes of food was collected. The event featured trucks, Jeeps, side-by-sides, cars and vendors.
