The Wetumpka High School Theater Guild is no stranger to competing at the highest levels in the state. The program has had best in state actors and shows at many theater competitions.

Wetumpka High Theatre Guild
The Guild has most recently taken home the Best in Show at the district Walter Trumbauer High School Theatre Festival and is advancing to state with its one-act play Alabama Story by Kenneth Jones. The playwright is piloting a one-act version of the story of Alabama in the 1950s and 1960s dealing with censorship and racism.
