Cliff Williams / TPI Main Street Wetumpka is hosting a Front Porch Festival in downtown Wetumpka the last Saturday of September. It replaces Oktoberfest.

Main Street Wetumpka’s Oktoberfest has always been family friendly. The event has stayed away from the large beer gardens associated with some Oktoberfest celebrations.

“It’s a lot of the same activities,” Main Street Wetumpka executive director Hayley Greene said. “It's just not fully Oktoberfest.”
