Ana Sofia Meyer / TPI Wetumpka forward Tom Suddith (30) slams home a dunk against Park Crossing. The Indians struggled to keep up with PCHS' fast-paced scoring, although they staged a comeback in the fourth quarter. They lost 55-65.

In the midst of area play, with the area tournament quickly approaching, every game is a must-win – especially for the Wetumpka Indians (14-7).

The Indians had looked forward to Tuesday night’s non-area matchup at Park Crossing (10-11) for a while, knowing that it would be some of the stiffest competition they’d face prior to playoffs. Even understanding the test they’d face, the Indians under-performed, falling to PCHS, 65-55.
