In a sport that is all about momentum and peaking at the right time, the Benjamin Russell softball team has worked out its kinks at the perfect moment. The Wildcats picked up their third-straight win, mounting a comeback to defeat the Tallassee Tigers on Thursday, 6-3, in a non-area matchup.

The Wildcats picked up the first run of the game on an infield error in the top of the second inning, but baserunners were left stranded after Zada Maxwell was caught between second and third base and tagged out. In the bottom of the second, Tallassee earned two runs on a double and reclaimed the lead, 2-1.
