Long time arts patron and Alex City Jazz Fest founder Ralph Frohsin Jr. was honored with a proclamation during the city’s council meeting Monday night.

“I want to thank the mayor, the council and the whole community,” Frohsin said. “What I did was not with my feet and my hands alone. We've had a great group of people that the arts meant a lot to, and it just makes our community broader and more complete through the arts.”
