Tallapoosa County Police Officer of the Year Franklin Keel, and now detective sergeant in investigations at the Dadeville Police Department, has developed an extensive career in law enforcement. He was in Jefferson County's first reserve academy in 1992 but started his career in Coosa County. He eventually made his way to Dadeville after almost 15 years in Coosa.
