From Station 3 updates to fire ratings to how the Alexander City Fire Department is now handling ambulance calls, ACFD Lt. Peyton Frew updated the Alexander City Kiwanis Club on the current state of the fire department during its Thursday meeting.

Frew, a fire inspector and member of the fire prevention team, reported to the group Station 3 has been officially opened since June 23 and will cover the right side of Alabama Highway 63 all the way across town to Alabama Highway 22 West and back through Our Town.
