There was no doubt whether or not the Horseshoe Bend girls basketball team was in the thick of it with Loachapoka on Monday night. But one thing glared in the 38-24 loss. It was not necessarily a cause of concern, but definitely something to clean up — free throws.

From the field, the Generals showed their prowess, especially senior Kenzie Woods, who finished with a 15-point and 10-rebound outing – notching a double-double on the night. Janie Clark finished as the second leading scorer with six points to pair alongside four rebounds. Lily Moss and Holland Gamble each pitched in with four points and combined for six steals between the two.
