For three years, the Class 2A Area 7 crown has grown quite comfortable nestled in New Site. And now, for the fourth year in a row, it's safe and sound at Horseshoe Bend School, with the softball team not only capturing the regular-season area title but the area tournament crown as well. 

This also cements yet another year for the Generals in the Class 2A Regional Softball Tournament.

File / TPI Horseshoe Bend's Madison Smith and the Generals fell victim to a no-hitter perfromaces from Woodland on Thursday. Smith and Alford combined for seven strikeouts in the pitching duel.
