AmeriCorps team has boots on the ground at Horseshoe Bend Park

An AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corp Traditional Corps team had their first assignment at Horseshoe Bend National Park before moving on to Louisiana.

 

Through AmeriCorps, a team of 10 is traveling around the country to do environmental projects within the National Park Service and Horseshoe Bend National Park was their first stop.

The AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corp Traditional Corps is a 10-to-11-month long program, where members will be on teams of eight to 10 doing projects around the country.
