The Alexander City Board of Education unanimously approved a 98-day food service contract with Southern Foodservice Management, Inc., to complete the remainder of the school year.

“It’s not a year contract because we’re starting in the middle of the year,” said Finance Director Rhonda Blythe. “We do all contracts like that, though. It gives you an opportunity if you aren’t satisfied with the service to get out of it.”
