Alexander City Schools will open bids for a new system-wide food service provider Nov. 22, according to Finance Director Rhonda Blythe.

The system is seeking new dining service following the board of education’s vote in a called meeting Oct. 14 to cancel the system’s current contract with Chartwells School Dining Service.
