Efforts are continuing to make an agricultural center in Jackson’s Gap a reality.

The land on Highway 280 has been purchased by Tallapoosa County and for the past several weeks, there have been efforts to clear it. County commissioner John McKelvey said with the burn ban there have been some delays with clearing the land and with the holiday season starting up, things have slowed down again.
