In honor of Veterans Day on Saturday, several county schools held their own Veterans Day programs to thank those who have served our country.
In Dadeville Elementary School, students gathered in the gym to celebrate Veterans Day alongside vets and their families. The program started off with second-grade teacher Julie Mask explaining why we celebrate Veterans Day with the history of the holiday.
