Students in the gifted programs at Stephens and Radney elementary schools took learning to new heights Saturday morning.
After teaching her gifted classes about aviation and its career opportunities, gifted program teacher Ellen Price wanted to give her students first-hand flying experience. Of her 55 students, 82% of them have never been on an airplane before.
