There are all kinds of traits we get from our parents and grandparents. Maybe it’s our eye color, our height or even parts of our personality. But our genetic profile also impacts our health. 

Dr. Nancy Merner is an associate professor at Auburn University, and she leads a research group that oversees The Gene Machine. The focus of the research is studying the genetics of breast cancer and related cancers.
