Leadership Lake Martin group works to boost youth literacy

Leadership Lake Martin has been making a difference in the community each year with groups creating community projects.

After an excursion to the Adelia M. Russell Library, this year’s blue team was inspired to revitalize the Little Free Libraries around town. The blue team included Nancy Pemberton with Exit Realty, Tyler Lashley with the Alexander City Police Department, Melody Rathel with Tallapoosa Publishers Inc., Kelsey Patterson with Commercial and Residential Cleaning, Dana DiChiara with Russell Lands and Alesia Goodwin with Russell Medical.
