Master Gardeners gives away hundreds of trees

Tallapoosa County Master Gardeners Association decided to expand their tree giveaway this year.

Around Arbor Day the Master Gardeners have an annual tree giveaway and with years of success, the association decided to make it an all-day event through Plants in the Park. Plants in the Park had 15 different vendors stationed around Dadeville’s Pennington Park. There were food vendors, baked goods, azaleas, trees, vegetables and herbs, honey, flowers, other organizations like the Dadeville Beautification Board and educational activities.
