After seven years in the making, the New Site walking trail is finally coming to fruition.

The Town of New Site got its start on the construction of the long-awaited walking trail located behind town hall. Tallapoosa County District 3 commissioner John McKelvey has been instrumental in getting the trail started. Not only has he advocated for the trail, he’s gotten his hands dirty for the prep work of the trail.
