Roulain Harrell knows how much joy animals can bring – so much so, she and her husband created the Rescue Barn for her two children to take care of animals. After seeing the joy the animals brought to her children, she wanted to give others throughout the community the same opportunity.
Most recently, Harrell brought a few farm animals — a miniature donkey, ducklings, a puppy and two goats — to Bill Nichols Veterans Home for the residents to enjoy as well.
