Several senior Alexander City residents celebrated the grand opening of the new Alexander City Senior Nutrition Center Friday morning.

Although the center has been operating locally for decades, the center recently moved into its new facilities at 226 Jefferson Street.

The Alexander City Senior Nutrition Center celebrated its official grand opening Friday morning. The center provides 89 seniors with lunch and a place to socialize.
