Although funding for the Alexander City Schools system is at a four-year low, the budget plan for fiscal year 2027 is solid.

ACS CSFO Lisa Dickerson presented the board with the initial budget during a special called meeting Thursday night. The budget’s planned expenditures for all four campuses total $46,164,900 for the upcoming fiscal year.
