I certainly hope everyone had a very enjoyable and restful extended weekend culminating with Memorial Day. It’s a wonderful holiday kicking off summertime and all the joys of that time of year. However, it’s also one of the most serious national holidays that we observe. It is specifically designed to honor those that pay the ultimate price in service of their country.
Sacrifice was a concept previous generations were all-too-familiar with, but has now seemingly become a foreign or old-fashioned idea. It is absolutely something to be appreciated and celebrated. Let me just say a humble, thank you, to all those who serve and especially the ones who gave their lives in the pursuit of freedom.
