After spending the majority of the summer without a head coach, Flowers was hired to lead the Cougars at the end of July. Flowers entered the program with a new style of offense just a few weeks before the season started. Although there have been growing pains having just a few weeks to implement a new scheme, the team has welcomed it with open arms.
