Players to Watch: 2024 High School Football

File / TPI Ben Russell receiver Cedarian Morgan, the No. 1-ranked player in Alabama in the state of 2026, scores a touchdown agasint Valley. Morgan had 622 receiving yards and four touchdowns last year.

QB: Alijah Johnson, Benjamin Russell

Johnson has the tough task of following the production left by Gabe Benton. However, he has grown as a passer throughout the offseason heading into his first year as a starter. He provides solid arm talent and great athleticism for the position. He has plenty of returning talent to the roster to make his job easier and get Benjamin Russell deep in the playoffs.
