It’s time again to reevaluate the coaching hierarchy in the Southeastern conference. Some coaches have deservedly moved up and some have even more deservedly moved down the list. In somewhat of a rarity, all sixteen skippers are back in 2025. I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts that won’t be the case in 2026. These rankings are only based on what these coaches have done while in the SEC.
1. Kirby Smart (Georgia) – Smart is 105-19 & 62-11 in 9 seasons. He has led the Bulldogs to 3 SEC titles and 2 national titles. He won his first SEC title in Year 2 and has never looked back. The rest of these rankings are subjective. Kirby’s lofty position is not.
