Wrestling finds a home in New Site: New Site Warriors build wrestling program from the ground up

Wrestling might be one of the fastest growing sports in the state of Alabama. From the addition of girls wrestling at the high school level to colleges expanding their athletic programs to feature more teams, it’s quickly growing in popularity.

And it’s even caught wind in New Site with the New Site Warriors wrestling program coached by Brad Thomas. He’s been well involved in the sport for years now, and knew that he could foster the love for wrestling with kids as young as 6 years old.
