Alexander City agrees to negotiate with DOT

The Alexander City Public Works committee agreed Thursday to negotiate with the Alabama Department of Transportation regarding use of the city’s water and sewer pipeline.

Gerard Brewer, superintendent of public works, said ALDOT has requested to tap into the city’s planned pipeline that will connect the Lake Martin Regional Industrial Park to Robinson Road – at the city’s expense.
