Dadeville’s municipal election has been contested for the first time in many years.

According to Circuit Judge Frank Lucas, last week Kathryn P. Cook, a concerned Dadeville resident filed suit against the city of Dadeville because of complaints about the election process. The City of Dadeville has received the lawsuit paperwork and must reply to the circuit clerk’s office. Then, all information will be presented to Circuit Judge Ray Martin.
