The Horseshoe Bend softball team was perfect in its area tournament with two wins over Reeltown and one over Handley.

The tournament sweep earned Horseshoe Bend a home series in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs Tuesday, when the Lady Generals will host Holy Spirit (Tuscaloosa).
